Details about Angled & Arched Window Treatments
Do you have questions about covering specialty windows? That’s normal. We like to let clients know that this is a topic where it’s important to discover your personal preferences so that you can make the best decision for your home. Let’s explore some of the frequently asked questions…
Do arched window blinds adjust, or stay in the covered position?
It depends on the collection. Some of our angled or arched window treatments adjust. Others stay in place once installed. The options you have will depend on the kind of window coverings you prefer, as well as the type of coverage you need.
Will the entire shape be covered, or left partially bare?
This can depend on your preferred look and the window issues you are facing. Oftentimes, custom-shaped windows have the standard, rectangular shape at the bottom, with a curved or angled top portion. It can look great to either cover the entire window, or leave the top shape bare. This can feel similar to the “top down” feature, as light enters across the ceiling, but the majority stays covered.
What is recommended for other window treatments in the room?
If you already have window treatments in your home–or in the same shared space as the arched windows, they can complement each other. Window treatments do not have to “match.” If you’re worried, our team of experts will set you at ease! We have a wide selection of fabrics and materials that will heighten the design and enhance these unique windows.
