Want More Details about Angled & Arched Window Coverings?

It’s normal to have questions about covering specialty windows. On one hand, having them uncovered adds a distinct look to your home. On the other, they could be bringing in way too much light, heat & UV rays–not to mention the lack of privacy. Let’s explore some of the frequently asked questions…

Do they adjust, or just stay in the covered position?

Some of our angled and arched window coverings can adjust. Others simply stay in place once installed. The options you have will depend on the kind of window coverings you prefer.

Should the entire shape be covered, or part left bare?

This can depend on your preferred look. Oftentimes, these shaped windows have the standard, rectangular shape at the bottom, with a curved or angled top portion. In those cases, it can look great to either cover the entire window, or leave that shaped top portion open. This can feel similar to the “top down” feature, as light enters across the ceiling, but the majority stays covered.

What about other window treatments in the same room?

If you already have window treatments in your home–or in the same shared space as the specialty windows, they can all coordinate together. Window treatments never have to “match” each other. If you’re worried, our team of experts will set you at ease! We have a wide selection of fabrics and materials that will heighten the design and enhance these unique windows.
