The Sheer Fabrics—Now with ClearView Technology
ClearView® is the innovation of black sheer fabrics that appear to be invisible when standing back to look out of the window. ClearView® provides a sharpened view of the landscape, clearly defining the natural elements. Traditional sheer fabric backing is still available for Pirouette® Window Shades, resulting in a soft, hazy display at the window. Your preference can depend on which direction your windows face. Traditional sheers soften views of nearby homes, while ClearView® enhances mountain and landscape views with crisp precision.

Soft Fabric Vanes
Hunter Douglas Pirouette® features solid fabric vanes, that when fully closed, lie in flat folds, providing a consistent modern look. The vanes are available in light-filtering or room darkening fabrics, from a selection of 90+ choices, including exclusive Alustra® fabrics—a premier collection of luxurious textiles. To let light into the home, the solid vanes of Pirouette® Shades fold in place, revealing the sheer back panel.
View-Through Sheer Backing
The sheer fabric backing of Pirouette® Shades invites soft, filtered light, capable of diffusing harsh glare and UV rays while providing beautiful outdoor views. Sheer fabrics can be coordinated with fabric vanes for the best combination. Pirouette® Shades are available with traditional sheers or with ClearView®, enhancing the view with crisp results.
Flexible Light Adjustments
A versatile option for levels of light control, the Pirouette® collection features a number of adjustments to create the ideal atmosphere and lighting within your home. In the “closed” position, the shade is lowered completely down with solid fabric vanes lying flat—the light is controlled. With the vanes still closed, you can roll the shade up into the headrail—stopping along the way for view-through or window access. If it’s diffused light you prefer, when the shade is fully lowered, adjust the solid vanes to fold in place. The sheer fabrics will bring soft light into your home for a pleasant, glowing atmosphere.
